Senator Obama, although very smart and sincere in his convictions, is over-hyped and over-sold. He is untested as a leader, which is demonstrated by his resume and his accomplishments are few by comparison to other leaders in this country. The Obama campaign is based solely on a slogan of 'change 39;, which amounts to nothing more than wishful thinking and not strong enough to get the job done should he get elected.
Think hard about your choice and visit www.zazzle.com/ ahoward50* to see other Obama shirt alternatives.

i think obama is a breath of fresh air that our dead, dull, close minded country needs. instead of having a 60-something white male....why not a young, black thinker and socializer?
i love obama. i turned 18 last november and i think most of the kids my age prefer obama.
change is left up to us essentially!
thank god!

I'm commenting on the recent display of racial outbursts that have come from a former Pastor of ; Barack Obama.   I actually expected to see this eventully unfold in this campain. Why?    Because, I believe that the principle of this outburst of color/ race has a justifiable purpose or reason. In this day in age, the AfroAmerican society, are treated very fair and to some degree equal .  But, my feeling is they still deal with the insecurity of acceptance, confidence, and feelings of characterizion, because of color.  Their many Historical figures have worked hard to fight for justice and Freedom. But, time after time were traumatically cut short by some in-just asination. Their inspiring history, great leaders, and above all the most gifted by far in the inspirational sound of their soul sung gospel heritage. These gifts they have shared and introduced to our lives...and, are taken for granted!!!! The beauty of their spiritual volume in their music is, one that cannot nor, will ever be surped.   Maybe, In our day and age we just dont think it has any significance or it wouldnt really make a difference? Or, maybe it's just singing,"The Blues"?
The AfroAmerican society may think very differently about that. It is the voices of their culture that founded their way to become worthy to stand up for the one purpose they fought so hard for, for centuries ?  There is such critizism in this country that we arent even understanding the principle of why this priest is standing up for what he believes in.  He is speaking out ," Harmonizing," the gospel and black heritage, requesting to be heard and to be offered some open invitation towards development of the " the gift " in which awaits. The very possibility that ...History is for the first time, in their human existance, is maybe about to become a reality.!! just to be able to feel , to breath, such a gift is maybe larger than life and slightly over-reacted by some. Many of these soul survived people have had nothing but heartache of underacheivemen t due to some form of racial indisgression.     Let them allow themselves, to be themselves, and to unite with the newly owned freedom. I am not agreeing at all with some of comments regarding race that this pastor has spoken but, I get his message and, I dont truely believe that his intentions are to hurt Barack Obama's run for Presidency. Rather, his interest is to see just how his word of truth would be accepted? And, to witness whether this country is acceptant for more than just Political change? Because, an Afro-American President like any other President needs many people for many other reasons other than politics. How could one help but feel a great surge of power in that church on Sunday Morning?? So, in some way I feel for this pastor because like he said, He speaks for Religion, not for Politics!!!  Maybe, this will be a good test ? Is America ready for Change????   I kind of think of the Iraq War in reference to this because we are fighting for peace and fighting for others freedom and have been fighting for so long that we are absolutely becoming near the verge of poverty stricken from it all.   I ask this question?    When you talk to an AfroAmerican person what does your conscience say to you?    Maybe not anything?   I know that mine does and I know that the history of the black society was clearly robbed of human dignity.   And today  we cannot make up for the shameful acts that our ancestors portrayed and believed was fair treatment.    I think that America should take this outburst as an eye opener to the Religious / Biblical strength that they have.    And, welcome this America as, " United."   I have an 8 y/o child wasteing away from a blood disease and  there is no cure.    It's disabling and absolutely heartbreaking for us to see him suffer, as much as I used to hurt for the children in the third world countries starving, with bone abnormalities and, diseases.  So, let me tell you, you just never know what types of gifts you'll be blessed with.    People, let's break this chain of racism for the sake of our children today. Motivate yourselves to love your neighbor, your family, be compionate, listen... Please, I would appreciate it if you would give this to Mr. Obama and tell him to forward a copy of this to his former pastor, and if his intentions were to tarnish the campain, then I have no comment ..just sickened!!

Please send me some information on the friends of Obama a friend but somewhat Religious sent me this email
Thousands of people have been displaced by election violence(over 350,000) and I don't know the last count of the dead. Obama under 'friends of Obama' gave almost a million dollars to the opposition campaign who just happened to be his cousin, Raila Odinga, who is a sot trained in east Germany . He has been trying to bring Kenya down for years and the last president threw him in prison for trying to subvert this country!
December 27th elections brought cries from ODM (Odinga Camp) of rigged election. Obama and Raila speak daily. As we watch Obama rise in the US we are sure that whatever happens, he will use the same tactic, crying rigged election if he doesn't win and possibly cause a race war in America .
What we would like you to know is what the American press has been keeping a dirty little secret. Obama IS a Muslim and he IS a racist and this is a fulfillment of the 911 threat that was just the beginning. Jihad is the only true Muslim way. We have been working with them for 20 years this July! He is not an American as we know it.
I would like to answer it with an intelegent response Please help.

I strongly believe Barack Obama is the best leader to put America in a new chapter of the World Atlas. First and foremost, I would like to thank and congradulate David Plouffe and all the campaign staff for running a thorough, smooth and very effective campaign to ist Barack Obama in his quest to save the American people and the world.
I hope more and more people of all races should vote for this new change in the American politics and put new energy and vigor in the white house; 200 years of rust and dust, betrayal and abuse is near end. The choice is yours, if you still want to eat rotten apple or new one!
God Bless America

I see a disturbing similarity between Hilary Clinton and George W. Bush. They both seem to operate on the principle "the ends justify the means" whereas Barack Obama realizes that the way we get things done is often as important as what we're doing - aka INTEGRITY.

I am Obama's security supporter because, I believe he is the right man for the right job at the right time. I know the media will soon pick this very statement of mine; but I wish someone will better of advice my wife to quit. This is because with my years of experience with her, I have no doubt that she cannot hold the mantle as our president. Sorry Hillary, but you know as much as I do that Obama is perfect and much more ready for the presidency than you. Once again, I am sorry.

I am a Obama supporter. i believe he really is a politician who is speaks what he means. i have been extensively researching his positions and past to try and find fault in the man. he came from a very humble upbringing in a single parent home like myself. he wants to change the country and the world for the better. i have done my best to try to dig up dirt on the man. i like to know the dirty little secrets of everyone for no one is with out sin. i have been unable to find anything of any consequence besides a little drug use in his teenage years (who hasnt). he has shown from his work as a communitity organizer in chicago thru his terms in the illinois senate to be a man of his word, a man of conviction, a man who DOESNT flip flop on issues. hes shown hes a man of integrity by not taking a dime from lobbyists and special interest groups. he built his campaign from the ground up, organizing common people instead of taking money from big corporations. that is what this country needs. a president that will unite the US for the common good. the only negative things ive found were ignorant ramblings from obviously ignorant people. i hope that prejudice americans will do a little homework of their own to see the truth: united we stand, divied we fall. Hilary is a hypocrite and McCain is an idiot puppet and we need a leader to bring this country together again. Obama is not just the lesser of three evils. he is what this country needs right now. We can only change the world if we unite together and that is what the Obama campaign has been about since day one. please look past your prejudice, do some research and unite America for the good of us all and the world too.

The reason many people are bringing up religion is that religion influences decisions. If I were a Christian, I would likely have many different views than I would if I were a Muslim.
Also, the fact that he goes to the church that he goes to is a major concern for me. His pastor is a wacko, plain and simple. I can not see how it is possible to attend the same church for so long and not know that his pastor is the wacko that he is.
Another thing that bothers me: his plan for universal health care. The health care systems in Canada and Britain . Also, they get taxed out the for it.
In the end, Obama is too liberal for me. Same with Hillary. If he had a chance, I'd vote for Ron Paul, but that'd just be a vote to help the Democrats win.

I can't believe there are still people harping on race and religion. This is a clear sign of ignorance and a distraction to what is really destroying us. So while our dollar continues to fall furhter into the shadow of the Euro and other world currencies, while the coffins continue to come back from Iraq, while many of us our losing our jobs and homes, while our healthcare and education system continues to decay, while our economy has put a $30,000 per person deficit on our shoulders while the cost of food continues to sky rocket and while we are blindly paying almost $4.00 a gallon for gas as the petroleum companies report record breaking profits, THERE ARE STILL PEOPLE STILL LIKE LYNE AND JOJO chanting cries of division, racism and hate when there is so much more to be worried about.

i agree with carlos. i think religion shouldnt come together with the political activity in our country. what you people are doing is going against the first amendment. you people are casting out a human being just because of religion. how would you feel if the government cast you out because of YOUR religion?!? i am an atheist white guy, and i dont give a crap about his so-called "muslim background". your just using that as an excuse to complain about something because you have nothing better to do. really, in the end, who, other than me, really cares about the standing position of america?!? political involvement is just something you people use to fill time in your pointless lives. you all sicken me... GO OBAMA!

I love how everyone is basing this off of religion of all things why should it matter religion and government should never intertwine and what difference does it make if he is christian, muslim or whatever else, Its not like its going to matter, I would rather vote for a candidate that has the beliefs of a LaVeyan Satanist but will still help the country than a Christian radical thats going to persecute every other religion..

Hey we all have our own views but what we all fail to notice is what is best right now, present time. Bush has put us in a position that this country has never been in. So when we ask ourselves what are our options we really only have two and those two are Hillary and Barack. Thank God we have two GREAT pics both really want this position of commander and chief. Now as an CEO of my own company I always look at the history of ones life before I make a final decision, The ideal thing is to have an experienced political person as chief and a new upcommer with great atributes as vice president . Then we dems will have a possible 16 years of great leadership that we know. I love Obama and I do want him as president. I just think that Hillary has the edge on time served. Think about this, when Hillary was on the commitee to Impeach Nixon in 1974 Obama was 14 years old and lived in the home land USA for 4 years. Now thats not to discredit Obama it just shows TIME SERVED.

first of all i'd like to say how ridiculous those of you are who are talking about race and religion. its all a matter of the change he makes to your country for the better. BETTER THAN BLOODY BUSH. i am a british born muslim. those of you who got a problem... deal wiv it u racist people. you racists im talking too.... yea.... you like when you get to have a curry and a beer infront of the telly but where does that come from? those asians that you racists hate so much. ok ok ok forget food. lets talk about 9/11. i advise all of you who claim 9/11 was not set up by the american government and was acted by muslims... please watch the following documentary films: farenheit 9/11 or conspiracies: 9/11 and the evil in america.
people. .. question your government.... those films give sufficient examples and evidence that bush and the american government were well aware of the demolition that was instigated that is being called 'terrorist attack'. OPEN YOURS EYES
you are in a government in which bush dictates and tells which countries to invade. they have been in afghanistan, iraq etc.... for the OIL!!!!
if you kill people... they will take revenge!!! if you think your country is under attack by so called muslim extremists then maybe thats because you pissed them off!!! you killed their people. say this to your current government. And you wonder y your country is getting attacked!?!!! duh!! you kill ovas they will retalliate. You need someone like Barack that has a muslim background (although he maybe a christian God knows.) but hopefullly he is nothing like bush and will not invade other countries!!!! and that way your country will be safe too. you people are so judgemental.... those of you who talk bout barack handing your country over to the Muslims.....or Arabs.... how ridiculous can you get!!! no Arab would want your country ...no muslim would want your country.... y?? coz its tainted with blood of innocent people Bush and his dad have killed for gaining the damn oil from middle eastern countries. 2 buildings of yours go down(9/11) killing a mere 3,000 people so bush decides to invade other countries killing over 100million yes over 100 million thats the death toll!!! muslims and arabs dont want america...your bloody government has tainted your country with innocent blood!!!
barack obama may bring some sort of peace to your country so id take that chance to vote for him if i were you!!
so what he dont sing the anthem dammit hes running for elections to try better your country.... you dont need to sing to praise your country...maybe he nos the reputation of america has gone down so he feels ashamed of how far bush has gone so he feels he might not want to sing the anthem till he betters the country!! same goes for the flag pin badge thing.....all you need is a person to better the country n any ones better that bush and those who are like him!!

Well i am not old enough to vote yet but right now i am looking for information on a speech .. and it is titled why NOT to vote for Barack Obama! Someone who votes against having English as the official language and who is suposed to be Christian but says that the Muslim call to Prayer is one of the "Prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset" and who changes his views in everything depending on what crowd he is speaking to and who cant put their hand over their heart during the National ANTHEM for the country that he is wanting to run is pretty ridiculous! One of the most, if not THE most liberal voting records in politics. This is the same person who will "bring us together?" If you promise people "programs" which provide free money, and encourage and reward no societal contribution... well, you will gather a large following. Look at the lines of people waiting for 99 cent gasoline from a radio promotion. Why don't we see this every day? Because it doesn't work. The business cannot support this kind of charity long term. Please semember this analogy when you vote. Think the war is expensive? Take a look what welfare and illegal immigration are costing us. Say what you want about the war (I just returned) At least we are REMOVING the bad people there.

I truly believe that Barack Obama is the antichrist! If he gets elected as the next president, this country is history. How in the world can a man who won't pledge his allegiance to our country expect smart people to vote for him? He's an idiot! To everyone who thinks that religion doesn't matter, you are in for a rude awakening! This country was founded on Christian principles. Muslums have no regard for human life (as demonstrated on September 11, 2001). Religion is at the heart of it!

I am from Illinois, and people whom I trust--people who have been in Illinois and national government for years--have put their total confidence into Barack. People will say ridiculous, hateful things about his--because they do not perceive who he really is and have been misinformed. Terrorists have been deeply misinformed about what America is all about, and some Americans have let their fear cause them to believe distortions of a decent man, a man who can be trusted to lead this country strongly and well. I hope to G-d he gets the chance, for all our sakes, but mostly for my kid's sake.

I unfortunately will be voting for Obama because he is the less of 3 evils. I believe that Obama has no balls and therefore will not send us into another -backwards war. Unlike Hilary who is power hungry or McCain who is a puppet of the neo-conservativ es, Obama is a puppet of the Politically Correct American system that drives every American's views today. No one is permitted to say that they want no more illegal immigrants that we all are paying for with regards to medical bills or loss of jobs. No one can say that our over-seas policies are absolutely ludicrous because we are America and are expected to shoulder other countries burdens. We need to take care of America first and foremost. We need to end this stupid war on drugs, we need to end the tax cuts for the upper-upper cl, we need to minimize the government' ;s social programs because people now are too damn lazy to go out and make a life for themselves. I understand that there are a few cases that require welfare, but too many just leech off the working cl and whine because they do not get enough money for not doing anything. What we need as our president someone who is reminiscent of Ron Paul, without the crazy followers (but I guess every politician has that) or the inability to connect with people across different sexes, races, ages and nationalities. What we need is a real Man who is not a puppet of the left OR the right, because both are WRONG. We need someone who apparently does not exist...

Thank you for this forum. I see this whole process as an eye opener. Sen. Obama is a man with a spirit we will be sorry if we loose his service. Not only for America, but the world. Great man. I say unto you, we have a messiah in our midst. It is hard to connect the dots, because the word Messiah to us is a person with magic powers, religious, or even some might say creepy. We are not in the BC years, this are different today. If we do attempt to connect the dots, this is not about miracles, this is very much about a popular moral revolution. The only person showing the courage to bring about those complete turn around changes is Sen. Obama. His leadership skills, his wisdom, his captivating spirit. A man whom everybody who lends him their ears, becomes touched by the Holy spirit. Some simply say "There is something about the man". Sen. Obama is not a muslim period. It's a shame for christians to be embaring a spirit that is here to give much needed respect to life as we wish it should be. Judge not, that ye shall not be judged. Every generation has a star who shapes the path of that said generation. The star of this generation is Sen. Obama. Great men had been to the mountain top, seen the promised land, and proclaimed the coming of the star, one of those great men is MLK(RIP) if we study his "I have a dream speech" he was trying to discribe a situation, a way of life in America, that only Sen. Obama has the spiritual responsibility to make a reality. He is an embodiment of that golden situation. We have seen how attracted folks are to his message, thats because his message is him. The prophecies will come to p. I rest my case. Observe the tranquility, prosperity, and unity America will enjoy under President Obama, then you shall truly believe the hand of GOD is at work in the man. Believe or you forever hold your peace.

I agree R. Evans, I have been posting here for a while and these people are blinded by their own ignorance. If you would notice where a lot of his support is coming from, the people who are posting are not even American, what interest or concern is it of yours who we vote into office. I know why you are interested, it is because you are anti-American and do not believe in God. You have been brain washed by this arrogant fool who has been trained by the Taliban and his cousin Osama bin Laden. He will bring destruction to this country if he were to become President. This cannot happen!!! If you think America is that bad take the next plane out of here and go live with a bunch of rag heads.

I'm not supporting this piece of crap. You people just don't understand anything about this man. You need to read between the lines. If he is elected president, you can kiss this country goodby. Cause he will flat out turn it over to the Muslems that he belongs too. Mark my word. I'm telling the honest to God's truth. Don't believe a damn thing this man tells you. Ask him where he gets his money from to fund his campaign. Why he's getting more than Hillary Clinton. I'm telling you people are making a big mistake.

I am ever so tired and disgusted with the stereo type politician. Money gets money...and the career politician gets fat "IE" (Ted Kennedy)
I believe Mr. Obama has a far greater insight to Americas needs. He needs to win Pennsylvania to boost his position in the Presidential race. The economy of our state has been depleted with poor leadership from Harrisburg. The loss of so many quality industries has given way to low income salarys for service employees. Even with the increase of the minimum wage, many are not able to meet their monthly bills. This is a hardship for young families and retired senior ciizens. Our states horrible tax burden impacts on every family. It appears at imes as if the Mafia is running Harriburg.
My suggestion would be to focus on the return of industry for the Pennsylvania workers...(Amer ican Workers) the majority of us were reared by fathers who were typical "Mil-Hunkies" hard working, beer drinking, cussing, and patriotic.
I am from the "Leave-it-To-Be aver"generation , and every race has had there own characters to leave an impression on them. I would truly love to a return to the America of trust, honesty and respect.
There is a bumper sticker that I saw once...and it made me think real hard about the direction our country is going. It read. "Welcome to the worlds newest third world country, AMERICA"
I believe Mr. Obama can rewrite that bumper sticker to read.
"Welcome to America, the worlds greatest country"
PS: Get an American Flag lapel pin. Respect our troops with a kind salute...it wasn't their decision to go.

To save the democratic chance to win the election, Obama need to come forward like he always did, ease up the difference, the growing division between democratics voters. This will give him the edge over Clinton, i guess the whole world starting to believe that he is gonna bring positive ways of thinking.

Hillary is totally blowing it. Obama is the right candidate. So what if he cut Rev Wright some slack? I'm white and I don’t agree with the way Wright is being portrayed in the media. This is not about race and Barack is screwing up by not smacking the media for the way they’re playing this. I think Wright is totally justified in his method of getting his congregation fired up to go out in the world and stand up for themselves. God knows nobody’s going to hand them anything, nor should they shouldn’t expect anyone to.
How is Hillary blowing it? She has a golden opportunity to simply go out and say “The Dems have a legacy of defending individual rights and freedom of speech. Barack and I are Dems first and opponents second and I strongly disagree with the way this is being represented in the media and used by the GOP and their pundits”. If she did that, she could mop the floor with Baracks entrails.
But she won’t because she can’t see the forest for the trees and she’s trying too hard to win. That rooster tail on the top of her head the other night was an obvious sign that she’s spent and can’t even think, nor can her advisors. THIS IS NOT an exercise in leadership quality and judgment, and is one of the many reasons why I believe that Barack is still the best man for the job and why you should support Obama for president.
Over and out!

I am over the edge happy that Barack is running for president. I'm doing everything I can to promote his campaign. I'd also like to address the Haters out there who are against Obama... First of all, to dismiss a person because of a name that they carry, its obsurd. Check your family roots and history and see how many racist slave owners your related to before you try and deminish his intentions for the country because of the name his mother gave him.
Secondly, if he's ugly in your eyes, that shows how shallow you are to base your votes on looks.
And if your basing your votes on looks, why in the hell are there all types of old wrinkled up, balding, aged spotted republicans in the house???
Maybe you vote for people who look like you?
Finally, take the microscope off of him and put it on the president that is currently in the office and figure out why did you vote for him and all that he's doing wrong... Whoever wins the presidency for 2008 is going to have a crap load of things to fix. Get the wool from over your eyes, take the cotton out of your ears, and you'll see that what this country really needs, is OBAMA!!!!!

This is the leader and the campaign we've been waiting for. What if we took it to another level?
Take the 'Obama fundraising & campaigning model' and reach beyond the Democratic platform: enable a grroots participation campaign for the best new ideas and the best proven practices for progress and positive change. On the internet & in community meetings - enable people to define a platform for what a federal government can do directly and what it could inspire through Presidential leadership and in sharing best ideas and practices between states, cities, schools & people. McCain wouldn't know what hit him... the uprising of participation and support for a 'new kind of listening & collaborative politics'.
Leverage the existing Obama grroots campaign structure right now!
We can all make calls to people in Pennsylvania. Yet before and after the vote there, we have plenty to be concerned about and to work on right here and now in our own states, cities, towns & communities. This makes the Obama promise local, concrete and meaningful – that the aim is not just to ‘win’ the Presidency or to collect money, but to catalyze and lead America in a reinvigoration of its democracy, in the trust that the greatest value lies in the American people.
This says: “Barack Obama doesn’t just want your vote, your money and your endorsement, but starting NOW, he wants you to bring the best that you have & know to this process.”
This will not only inspire the folks in Pennsylvania and all the upcoming states yet to vote, it will build on the pion and participation that was aroused and now lies waiting in all the states that have already voted... It will energize Obama & Clinton supporters alike to participate & collaborate regardless of the specific outcome of the primary campaign (likewise drawing in independents & Republicans).
This erts in action that Barack Obama is not only capable of leading the democrats as their nominee or the nation as President, but that he is in fact leading the nation NOW.
This begins the most crucial part of a 'grroot s' federal Presidential campaign for it actually begins the most important part of the process of 'new politics': NOT JUST LISTENING to people, but inspiring them to take responsibility to organize their ideas, to listen to each other, to share and to learn about the best practices that are already in place, proven and ready to be suitably deployed in other parts of the country. New ideas will certainly emerge. But locked up in every corner of America there is undoubtedly a gold mine in ideas for progress & positive change that are already in practice and time tested. This process will unify the country through its best spirit, ideas and action.
How.
Tap the Obama network by email and online, and also the community at large through media events and national advertising to organize:
Small meetings – in homes, offices, community centers, schools
Larger gatherings – regional & national conventions centered on specific issues (education, infrastructure, health, economy, poverty, etc. with representatives from the above small meetings)
Publis h evolving results as:
A collaborative web community to compile best ideas & the overall ‘policy platform’: a ‘wikipedia’ to evolve political policy.
Printed documents available by mail & as media inserts.
As press releases for the web, newspapers, radio & TV.
Raise funds for this as an autonomous process APART from the campaign, ie.: a 527 organization that funds a ‘collaborative political platform process’ [in place of ‘partisan advertising’.]
K eep the focus tight: What are the key issues? What has been done? What can we do?
This builds on the existing Obama organization and momentum NOW. This builds on the overall enthusiasm among all Democrats and reaches beyond party boundaries. This invites everyone else who has been watching from the sidelines to participate. This is what underlies the power and promise of Barack Obama’s candidacy, a return to what America has always stood for and just makes it smarter, fresher and better:
Innovati ve leadership, sensible use of technology & participatory politics as voluntary enhancements of representative government. It is up to us not only to vote, but to be deeply involved.
After all, we are the ones we’ve been waiting for!

I really don't care if the president is black, white, man or woman. What I care about is the fact that Barack Obama does not take pride in being an American! I mean damn he wants to be president, but he can't pledge alleigance to our flag, or wear it on his lapel? Do we really want someone like that running our country? I for one don't and I will not be voteing for him. sorry if this pisses some of you off, but you really need to think long and hard before you vote him in. I also don't agree with him wanting to pull us out of Iraq, and yes I am a soldier in the US military and I have been to the middle east. Pulling us out would be the worst possible thing we can do at this point.

Yo. Barrack is my homeboy! I'm an asian dude. I came to America when I was two. I look asian, but I am an American. I always hated the idea that you have to look white to be an American. For this reason and many more, I hated whites, blacks, and all other races including my own. It's so easy to hate but so hard to believe that we share a common interest....... we are all Americans. I don't vote and probably never will. I guess I just want change. I don't care if Barrack is black or white or black and white. Who cares if a black man will make history or if a female will make history. What is shameful is the fact that you have to beat down on others to make you look better, or you need money and connections to be experienced enough to lead. I don't need all my hardships and world issues to change in a heart beat. All I know is this world needs change. I think Barrack is humble and has a pion to help others like few people we meet though out our lives.

As a former Bill Richardson supporter who appreciated his experience and integrity I've been won over by the Obama's inspiring leadership qualities and don't believe his lack of executive experience would be a shortcoming. I'm thrilled that my man Bill has endorsed the Big O and hope the favor is returned by naming Bill VP, or at least Secretary of State. Together they can restore American credibility in the world and will hopefully provide the progressive leadership so desperately needed to deal with the challenges of the 21st century. I'm 61 years old, a member of the spoiled Baby Boomer generation which has selfishly
ruined this country both morally and financially. A new generation must reform this mess and it won't be easy. Obama and Richardson have the leadership abilities to organize a renewal. America needs them to inspire this transformation.

Barack Obama you are with out a doubt the best candidate for the President of the United States since President Kennedy. Unfortunatly with the powers that be you are running into road blocks all the way. I unfortunatley can not vote for you as I am a Canadian, but what happens in the US effects us as well as the rest of the world.
I believe you are the man for the job regardless of what is said. Any one who can tolerate Hillery deserves a medal including Bill, however I find it interesting that the entire Clinton clan is out to get you. They do not play fair and if Hillary is elected as President I feel that when she gets with the big boys they will not tolerate her tears just because she can not get her way. They will chew her up and spit her out. What happend to white water? where are her tax returns? How come the 3rd. building went down on 911,which was not hit by a plane and just happened to contain all the white water documents? That were destroyed????
I pray that you will be the next President as you have given me hope for a better future than the ones we are looking at with either Clinton or McCain. You are the only one that can clean up the mess that GWB has put us all in.

I believe Obama is the best candidate that we have. I am not overly concerned about Wright as many of us have friend and family that we do not agree with but love and still remain in contact with each. Each person should be held responsible for only his doing unless that person isted in the actions of the other person.
Let's be serious for a moment. Barack was doing so well there was bound a time that "they" the media and other haters would come up with someone to say bad about him.
What about all that the Clintons have had that was negative etc. For some reason, no one is bringing that up. Interesting. I appreciate Obama for taking the high road as much as he has and trying not to get caught up in unnecessary conversations.
If Obama does not win I may have to consider moving to Canada or something.

I'm gonna say this: Barack has a different mindset than the other politicians we have. He may be slightly inexperienced; this way he has an entirely different method of thought, a different way to handle things. He may have went to a black church for twenty years; he has been there and will treat everyone fairly.
If anything, we don't need another old white man in office. If Barack Obama isn't our 'saviour,& #039; then Hillary and McCain surely are not, and our country is therefore doomed to hell anyway. People, just elect Barack Obama; he's worth a shot.
P.S. And you know what? Race does happen to matter. I'm whiter than white and I have done research and have no black or native american in me whatsoever, and I AM TIRED of the same old white man candidate. I want something different.

There are a lot of opinions expressed on this page. Like many of you, I was intrigued by Obama, at least initially. I thought that perhaps he represented a new type of politician, a break from the Clintons and the usual beltway rhetoric. Sadly, though, I have come to realize that he is not different or special. He is unfortunately nothing more than a leftover 60s leftwing radical with little senatorial experience. Proof of this is apparent from his ociations with his "spiritual leader" and William Ayers. His campaign for hope and change is not unlike that used by Jimmy Carter in 1976, where Carter was supposed to "unite" people after the uneasy Watergate period.. he lasted one term.
Many of you seem to have been caught up in Obama fever. He is portrayed as eloquent and well spoken, which I agree he is, but be careful of those who are able to sway you with words. Jim Jones swayed 800 people to South America and their eventual demise. And please, no more comparisons of Obama to Dr. M. L. King. King was a unique and special man who used profound eloquence and nonviolent protest to help usher in the modern civil rights movement. Obama is a politician.
We are at a special place in our American history, where a black man and a white woman are running for our highest office, and I feel this shows just how great America is today where this is possible. Unfortunately, neither of these two choices is acceptable, unless you are a sot and advocate som. Sadly, McCain is not much better. He has too many liberal tendencies, Bush-like tendencies, and I fear that all those years in a South Asian prison camp may have warped his brain. So what are we all to do? As the old saying goes.. hope for the best and expect the worst.

AN INSPIRATION FOR THE NEW GENERATION
Barac k Obama is the reborn or reincarnated Martin Luther King who has inspired all walks of life not only in America, around the world as well. It was a devastating agony that the world lost a charismatic persona that changed the social malfunctions of that time for ever.
Today, America and the world are at the highest point of happiness to regain that inspiration 40 years later. But live at the lowest of lowest life creating inequality and animosity at home and around the world. America needs to bring changes that make the world a liveable place without fear, war and spending and building unnecessary arms to destroy each other.
If I say that Barack Obama means equality, liberty and fraternity, I would not be further from the truth. In the so fast changing world we live in, change is so inevitable and only if that change is transparent and accountable to all. I believe the American people would make that judgement with complete care and honesty to vote for the person who would bring those changes to live not only the highest life, the happiest with equality,…..
Bar ack’s personal journey has been so admirable and encouraging overcoming overwhelming living hardships and the loss of his father early on and his mother to sickness and later death is a testimony to his unshakeable strength, determination, compion, perseverance, honesty, integrity and ability to deal with obstacles, anything and everything, no matter how big, that stands in his way.
Therefore, my fellow American brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, I urge you to vote for Barack Obama who would bring about those changes you and the world need to live with dignity, high spirit and economic prosperity leading all humanity to a common goal-PEACE, LOVE and the Pursuit of HAPPYNESS!!
May God Bless America
May God Save Barack Obama

Reply to The Truth shall Set You Free. I don't understand your rant. Senator Obama has not uttered these words, so what truth are you proclaiming? Barack Obama is one man that is not responsible for the words or opinions of others. I have friends & family members that have views different from my own, but that doesn't keep me from ociating with them or even loving them. I think that Barack Obama is just what this country needs right now. He is all about inclusion for all Americans. Reading the following messages, it pains me how many people are swayed by innuendos and imagined threats. The Senator represents all people. His skin is black, but he also is half caucasian and was raised in a loving caucasian household, so why are people suddenly so afraid of his color. It's time for the country to move past these things and use our common sense and leave the fearful emotions behind. We should know what the man stands for by now, based on his past performance. For those that are swayed by these recent news items, don't you even wonder where they come from and why they surfaced now? Come on. We were fooled by sniper attacks such as these in the last election and look where that got us.

Obama is the worst candidate that has ever been fielded by any party in the history of this country. His ociates are such fairminded twits as Farakan, Jesse Jackson, that lunatic, idiot pastor of his "church" . He is a blatant racist and hates this country, as does his wife. Blacks are voting for him solely because he is a black. He could run on a platform to bring back slavery and these idiots would still vote for him. His stand on open borders will take jobs primarily from blacks and will surely take away a huge amount of political power from the black vote. Good luck and be carefull what you wish for.

Obama is the man of the nation.

It's hard to imagine how a candidate such as Hillary Clinton can even still give hopeful speaches about being the next president. She's LOST 14 of the previous 17 primaries! In her recent press release, she says he is losing voters in several key areas. It's funny that his supposed (but false) losing of voters is still enough to completely kick her butt with. She must have one of the comedic writers from hollywood' s recent strike doing her PR announcments because she's not doing herself any favors by lying in these reports, and even when she does, she still looks bad after you think about it for a minute. Obama has got this election locked down. I hope he isn't spending too much time worrying about her tactics because the only man in his way now is Mccain. While he's got the big corporations behind him, Obama's got the people. This will be an interesting election, and hopefully it goes well for Barack so we can finally have a government working the way it needs to. I'm sick of all the corporate money influencing politics. I don't think we can get rid of it completely, but there's a few obvious things we can change.

There's one thing this country needs, and that's a major change in its complete organization and way of doing things. If we citizens ever had a chance at a politician helping us achieve this instead of controlling us in the ways they want to, then Barack Obama is the man. While this isn't exactly a revolution that will be happening when he gets elected, it will certainely be a huge step back in the direction we should have already been headed toward. I've got a feeling that the recent things Rush limbaugh said about having republicans voting for Hillary to sway the primaries will end up being viewed as another 2004 tactic like Bush used in Florida. This will piss off alot of people and possibly cause an uprising if such slimeball tactics end up working. As supporters of Obama, we need to make sure things such as this don't affect the final results and that Obama does indeed get elected in this election season. We have too much to lose to not do everything we can to help him win. We shouldn't try to win by a margin.. we should go all out and make them realize they have NO CHANCE.

Barack Obama represents what the majority of this country really is... lower to middle cl citizens. Hillary doesn't come from "us".. she comes from what is essentially "royalty" in that her husband was president. She's got the connections she needs, but despite all that "in"-ness that she's got, Obama is pulverizing her even without such a huge rolodex. It said in the washington post that she has to win roughly 60 percent of all remaining states in the primaries, along with the same amount of delegates in order to wi
