Love is blind. Logic dictates! Hillary is more qualified, moderate, and older, therefore wiser. She spent 8 years in the White House. She has an past president to advise her, one who actually balanced the budget, and those of us who are older (and therefore wiser) remember the Clinton years as prosperous and peaceful. You Hillary Haters, what did you hate more, the peace or the prosperity? Obama is too far left. Kerry was too far left and he failed. Obama will also fail because the majority of Americans are basicly conservative or somewhere in the middle, like Hillary. The media has already dug up way more dirt on him than they ever did on Kerry. Think about it. How can he possibly win against a war hero and man of such decent character as McCain, ( who's also older and wiser), who's out there looking presidential while we argue about this? There's nothing I want more than a Democrat in the White House, but Dems are making a huge mistake choosing such a flawed candidate. We need someone with experience and strength, not empty promises. I don't trust Obamas' religious background or his choice of friends and ociates. It worries me that he spent 20 years in a church that is obviously racist and anti-American. Forgive Hillary for her "sniper fire incident". She's only human. Who among you has never stretched a fish, or retold a story with a little more embellishment than it deserves? Let he who has never stretched the truth for his (or her) own benefit cast the first stone. Lord knows Hillary is no quitter. She loves this country and unlike Mrs. Obama she has always been proud of America. Hillary will never quit on us. She will fight McCain with even greater tenacity than she has shown in these primaries if people will just give her a chance. I hope Americans will come to their senses and get over their silly crush on Obama, and get past their predjudice against women and do the logical and right thing.Vote for our former first lady and senator, Mrs. Hillary Clinton 08!

If you promise people "programs" which provide free money, and encourage and reward no societal contribution... well, you will gather a large following. Look at the lines of people waiting for 99 cent gasoline from a radio promotion. Why don't we see this every day? Because it doesn't work. The business cannot support this kind of charity long term. I truly believe that Barack Obama is the antichrist! If he gets elected as the next president, this country is history. How in the world can a man who won't pledge his allegiance to our country expect smart people to vote for him? He's an idiot! To everyone who thinks that religion doesn't matter, you are in for a rude awakening! This country was founded on Christian principles. Muslums have no regard for human life (as demonstrated on September 11, 2001). Religion is at the heart of it!

I am from Illinois, and people whom I trust--people who have been in Illinois and national government for years--have put their total confidence into Barack. People will say ridiculous, hateful things about his--because they do not perceive who he really is and have been misinformed. Terrorists have been deeply misinformed about what America is all about, and some Americans have let their fear cause them to believe distortions of a decent man, a man who can be trusted to lead this country strongly and well. I hope to G-d he gets the chance, for all our sakes, but mostly for my kid's sake.

Even though I was born in Illinois & lived 22 years in Hawaii, there is NO way he'd git my vote til he changed his name & actually demonstrated some social redeeming value. I see nothing more than a 'blow hard politician' ; on par wid another dismal opponet in billeryhillery! The storms in the USA will continue to increase in severity wid these poor excuses of leaders as our elected candidates.

I unfortunately will be voting for Obama because he is the less of 3 evils. I believe that Obama has no balls and therefore will not send us into another -backwards war. Unlike Hilary who is power hungry or McCain who is a puppet of the neo-conservativ es, Obama is a puppet of the Politically Correct American system that drives every American's views today. No one is permitted to say that they want no more illegal immigrants that we all are paying for with regards to medical bills or loss of jobs. No one can say that our over-seas policies are absolutely ludicrous because we are America and are expected to shoulder other countries burdens. We need to take care of America first and foremost. We need to end this stupid war on drugs, we need to end the tax cuts for the upper-upper cl, we need to minimize the government' ;s social programs because people now are too damn lazy to go out and make a life for themselves. I understand that there are a few cases that require welfare, but too many just leech off the working cl and whine because they do not get enough money for not doing anything. What we need as our president someone who is reminiscent of Ron Paul, without the crazy followers (but I guess every politician has that) or the inability to connect with people across different sexes, races, ages and nationalities. What we need is a real Man who is not a puppet of the left OR the right, because both are WRONG. We need someone who apparently does not exist...

Thank you for this forum. I see this whole process as an eye opener. Sen. Obama is a man with a spirit we will be sorry if we loose his service. Not only for America, but the world. Great man. I say unto you, we have a messiah in our midst. It is hard to connect the dots, because the word Messiah to us is a person with magic powers, religious, or even some might say creepy. We are not in the BC years, this are different today. If we do attempt to connect the dots, this is not about miracles, this is very much about a popular moral revolution. The only person showing the courage to bring about those complete turn around changes is Sen. Obama. His leadership skills, his wisdom, his captivating spirit. I believe Mr. Obama has a far greater insight to Americas needs. He needs to win Pennsylvania to boost his position in the Presidential race. The economy of our state has been depleted with poor leadership from Harrisburg. The loss of so many quality industries has given way to low income salarys for service employees. Even with the increase of the minimum wage, many are not able to meet their monthly bills. This is a hardship for young families and retired senior ciizens. Our states horrible tax burden impacts on every family. It appears at imes as if the Mafia is running Harriburg.
My suggestion would be to focus on the return of industry for the Pennsylvania workers...(Amer ican Workers) the majority of us were reared by fathers who were typical "Mil-Hunkies" hard working, beer drinking, cussing, and patriotic.
I am from the "Leave-it-To-Be aver"generation , and every race has had there own characters to leave an impression on them. I would truly love to a return to the America of trust, honesty and respect.
There is a bumper sticker that I saw once...and it made me think real hard about the direction our country is going. It read. "Welcome to the worlds newest third world country, AMERICA"
I believe Mr. Obama can rewrite that bumper sticker to read.

To save the democratic chance to win the election, Obama need to come forward like he always did, ease up the difference, the growing division between democratics voters. This will give him the edge over Clinton, i guess the whole world starting to believe that he is gonna bring positive ways of thinking.

Hillary is totally blowing it. Obama is the right candidate. So what if he cut Rev Wright some slack? I'm white and I don’t agree with the way Wright is being portrayed in the media. This is not about race and Barack is screwing up by not smacking the media for the way they’re playing this. I think Wright is totally justified in his method of getting his congregation fired up to go out in the world and stand up for themselves. God knows nobody’s going to hand them anything, nor should they shouldn’t expect anyone to.
How is Hillary blowing it? She has a golden opportunity to simply go out and say “The Dems have a legacy of defending individual rights and freedom of speech. Barack and I are Dems first and opponents second and I strongly disagree with the way this is being represented in the media and used by the GOP and their pundits”. If she did that, she could mop the floor with Baracks entrails.
But she won’t because she can’t see the forest for the trees and she’s trying too hard to win. That rooster tail on the top of her head the other night was an obvious sign that she’s spent and can’t even think, nor can her advisors. THIS IS NOT an exercise in leadership quality and judgment, and is one of the many reasons why I believe that Barack is still the best man for the job and why you should support Obama for president.

Any specific pieces of legislation that he's backed that is bad or any policy proposals he's talked about or written about that are wrong? Do you have anything more than an opinion as to why Obama s?

I think Obama would probably do well as president but that is a problem....what we need is somebody that we can be sure will do well, there are many mistakes bush and co have made that the next president will need to correct.

This is unfair. Obama needs more allies. Clinton and her husband have too big a machine for obama. Wesley clark just backed her. What military general backing Obama? This is becoming a landslide victory for Hillary. who will help Obama?

As much as I have given crap tords Obama about wanting to invade Pakistan. I do give him his props for trying to think oustide the box. I just think he is not ready to become the next presdient of the United States, but looking at Hillary I'm going back to Obama's side for the democrated nomine. obama is an idiot when it comes to home loans. as long as the gov refuses to bail out predetory lenders and the FDIC raises the insurance premiums for poorly managed banks, economic darwinism will take its course. banks will continue to seek high reward/high risk loans becuase the sots are always there ready to bail them out. once you take out the risk factor banks will do whatever they want. forget them you dont need to fine them just let this crisis hurt them.
