hey everyone i think that barack obama is the right candidate for the US i live in California and i am 15 years old....Even though i can't vote yet i still understand politics and i like this issues. and the fact that i know that barack is goin to be a great change for us in the US he is smart and has good things in progress to lead his campaign.....In my opinion i can almost be 100% sure that he is goinng to make history for sure....And for the people talking about racist and religion...i thing that alot of peple are racist and wouldnt want him to win for his roots but i think that doesnt matter because what matters are his future plans in the future. I respect Barack Obama very much. I lived in Nigeria West Africa and respect the fact that Obama grew up in the Mideast, which would be an advantage for a U.S. President in dealing with foreign leaders. I have been sending many messages on websites against Fox News for all their slander. Obama should not have to answer to them. It is not their business what church he goes to and I as a White Woman agree with much of what his Pastor said. Obama is a good man, he needs to get tougher on this campaign. Since Hillary lets Bill Clinton campaign for her, she must approve the way he chased young girls in the White House while terrorists were planning the Sept.11th destruction right under his nose. Obama has to throw more honest dirt at the Clintons even though it is not his nature. His campaign manager needs to get out there more for him. Obama should not have fallen into the trap to defend his church to Fox News, they want to trap him. He should actually sue Fox for slander. The worst thing Obama could do is get defensive. He has to stay on the offense. Obama needs to get this message. So many Americans are slamming Fox News right now. Hillary Clinton does not have the experience. She brings up issues that she did not solve or try to when in the senate all these years. Obama could throw that at her. She is in PA for the working man. If he wants a fair share of the Latino vote he must get himself into evangelical churches, Catholic Churches and above all Univision and Telemundo. There he needs to talk about Latino concerns: gangs, jobs, healthcare in the barrio, education....th e key to the gente is la familia.... You had my vote in the ca primary as an alternative to billery's corporate DLC.
But, I just read this in the sf chron: "Obama takes big risk on driver's license issue," (1-28-08) This indicates you intend to advance driver's licences for illegals. You lost my vote. I guess cheap labor, and trading votes for "citizenship," is more important than the general welfare of your own people.
We will never restore our middle cl as long as we send our jobs to cheap labor, and bring cheap labor here. I guess as long as we are giving the business cl cheap labor, we might as well recognize that we are already subsidizing the education, medicine, and incarceration costs of "cheap" labor for our business cl. What happened to the middle cl? They were forced to sacrifice their schools, medicine, wages, and political power to subsidize the cheap labor that replaced them. Licences are just frosting on the cake. Obama is a fake. I'm voting for edwards now.

I have always been a fairly strong Republican, however, Obama will be getting my vote. Why? 1) I am not happy with any of the gentlemen running on the Republican side. 2) Hillary Clinton is probably the WORST thing that can happen to our country. Good question April, and I'll be happy to explain. I've spent nearly every minute of my spare time for the past year promoting Obama anywhere I can find a place that would be appropriate. Through this website, all the images people hotlink into their myspace pages, and through my own promoting of Obama, this website has the potential to get Obama into the minds of millions of younger voters that might not have been reached without it. I could be watching TV and drinking beer, but instead I'm trying to get Obama elected as best as I can. If you don't think my effort deserves a few dollars thrown my way every once in a while, then I don't know what to say. Money isn't the only thing that Obama needs to win an election... yes it helps, but what I truly believe is that he needs a bunch of highly motivated people such as myself spending 40+ hours a week on top of their regular job helping to promote him. Also, all those millions he's getting from people such as yourself goes to pay salaries of all the people around him. I'm not taking a paycheck from him. I only get whatever comes in from this site. I don't mean to sound too defensive about it, but I really wonder why you can't imagine how this is helping Obama. .. especially with the younger generations.

Let me start off by saying that I can truely believe that race and sex are not fueling the election. I think America has a lot of young voters that did not grow up in segregated communities or in times that women had no rights. Most of us are modern Americans that grew up in diverse communities. By diverse, I not only mean race, I mean sexualities, religions, scenes ect. Speaking for myself I can honestly say that I was raised around all kinds of people and their race or sex has no impact on me. People are individuals and I believe you DO NOT have to tell us young people of America that, we were RAISED knowing that. He may not need to take off the kid gloves. I think you might find he's taking a bit different approach. He's doing interviews on things like Tyra. Daytime talk shows. Talking about his first kiss with his wife, etc. He's a good looking guy, showing he's romantic and sweet. Very charming. Making all the housewives get dreamy eyed over him.... JFK was handsome and charming. Jimmy Carter had the cute factor (well, compared with his competition). Clinton too. Do the republicans have that kind of charm and looks on their side in any one of their candidates? I hate to bring it down to that, but if he plays his cards right, he could do it. Look's like Obama is not going to pull it out although you never know. Him, Hillary, and Edwards are in a dead heat in Iowa. A victory there could change the whole dynamic. As we saw before with Howard Dean. Democrats are notorius for bumping the front runner at the last minute, and lets not forget Obama has a HUGE war chest. He'd better start ussing it and take off the kiddie gloves though, and he needs to get out there. I think he does less interveiws then anyone besides maybe fred thompson.
