We need a true leader for the people of America. Let's get back to basics, please. Let's face it... there is no one that I know that is perfect; however, Mr. Obama is the only true person, in this race, that states this. He is a phenom, that just happens to be brilliant, that just happens to care about children, that just happens to care about adolescents, that just happens to care about adults, that just happens to care about, our seniors, that just happens to care about our troops, that just happens to care about our vets. I noticed 1 main thing when Barack speaks... he says, " our." Meaning we are 1 America!. I trust Barack to choose his cabinet, his leaders, and his helpers. Not 1 person can do it all, but 1 person can certainly start the ball rolling! I am an American... I am not white, black, asian, latino, american indian... I am an American. That is his message! I plan to follow it to the letter. God Bless America! God Bless American's ! God Bless the World! We are one and we are strong.
God Bless you! Nick

I think it is wonderful, we are making history in this election, and I pray that you are the winner. It is time that someone is elected cares about all the people and not an elect few. United States has a lot of things that need to considered. War, jobs healthcare, seniors, and education.

I was highly impressed by the message that was given todaqy by our future first lady (Michelle Obama). She reiterated many of the things that her husband has already stated as well as gave much of her own insight. The fact is we as Americans need a president who will address the issues that will affect the main stream people. We need better public schools, better healthcare options, cost of living raises, education funding and better pension plans.

I think Obama offers three fundamental qualities the Clinton/Edwards alternatives do not:
1. He is far less inclined/indebt ed to the PAC/Union mantras of economic regulation and protectionism Clinton/Edwards are obliged to uphold.
2. He understands the political and ethical nature of the 'war on terror' better than any candidate other than John McCain.
3. (And I appreciate this is very subjective): he is by far the best speaker of Dem hopefuls since JFK.

Obama in 08! He personally does not agree with abortion, however, he understands the debate is not black and white. He feels that each individual states should decide for themselves. This is the Constitutional way to do it. Any power not given to the Federal gov by the Constitution is reserved for the States. Read our Constitution! As for religion and economics he believes in freedom and liberty.

Which do you all think we'll have first? A black president or a woman president. And for the record, I am not talking about Hillary Clinton specifically.

1. Here is the internet's equivalent of a very long and detailed Barack Obama biography.
2. If instead you want the quick version, heres the fast Barack Obama bio that will get you up to speed.
3. A section for Barack Obama's wife Michelle Obama since she is so active in her husband's campaign.

Misspelled name:
His name is somewhat easy to spell wrong. Some of the most popular misspellings are Barak Obama or even Baraka Obama, Barac Obama, Barach Obama, and similar to the hilariously funny movie Borat is Borak Obama.
