Obama is an empty suit.He spent only 3 yrs in the Senate and didn't actually DO anything.He promised the ppl of Ill who elected him to the Senate to lower their taxes.Did he do this? NOPE.He's promising the moon and calling that hope.You see i'm not a young person.I'm 55 ..soon to be 56...and know history well enough to know that this is just politics and all he wants is power.Watch the movie Rise to Evil. Know your history. But short of that look at Obama's record.Words and promises are great-but what a person has actually DONE is what counts.But let's look at what he's promising.95% of American ppl a tax cut.NOT so.43-45% do not have a tax liability.He� 39;s not going to make us energy independent.He& #039;s going to check conditions first.I've heard all this before.I want someone who will actually do this.Then the Dems will be totally in power in Congress and it was Franks and Dodd along with Acorn that got us into this mess.Obama will let the Bush tax cuts go. When he does he will raise taxes,increase spending. Isn't this the same guy that criticized the Bush deficit? So what does he do? Increase it more.He will tax the American ppl and businesses to death and kill any hope of jobs here.Beyond all this I guarantee if Obama is elected-i GUARANTEE our country will be attacked again in his first 6 months of office and he won't have a clue what to do except capitulate.Reme mber i said this.And i will hold you ppl with your pie in the sky ideas about this messiah responsible.You ng ppl don't have the history to know what this man is about.He won't fight corruption.He was on the side of Franks and Dodd.What' s he going to do? Barack Obama traces The Route to Freedom and offers the expected change, another life quality, to recover dreams and to make the American dream come true, a genuine national security, the North American alliance, harmonic unity, cordial from all America, so that it can have another leadership, fight against corruption activities, a respectful sight and more comprehensive of reality of Latin America; a human and worthy treatment to immigrants in an immigrant countries from their identity and conscience of son of immigrants, and the possibility of a longing global peace, not only lack of war but also as a spiritual, social, and “divine peace”, hope for everybody, especially young people within a general discouragement and the economical crisis, that seems to be we are just before the 1929 Great Recession that is currently affecting the whole world.
I believe Barack Obama, is a pure example of the hope that is needed, to make America a place to be proud of, once agian. This is the hope that many imigrants came to America for. He appears very sincere in the values that need to come back to all Americans, thoughtfulness, careing, helping those that are less fortunate, truthful, and most importantly, making America a better place for all the young children, that will be in the control seat in years to come. As far as I can see, he has all the best qualifications, a presidencial canidate should possess. Unfortunately, not many, up untill now, have had. God bless Obama and the United States of America. I received a phone call yesterday whereby the caller asked if I had time for a "political survey". After a few questions and determining that I was Jewish, it was obviously this so-called "survey" was directed at South Florida Jews. Questions like "would you still supoort Barack Obama if you knew that Hamas supported him?" or "Would still support Obama if you knew his foreign affairs advisor was anti Israel"? No negaive questions were directed at McCain/Palin. I fear that calls of this nature could confuse many Barack supporters to thinking he is anti Israel. What could be done to counteract and stop these unfair practices?

Has everyone forgot how little the republicans have done over the last 8 years. Now they are telling us there going to change the world. They lied the last 2 elections so its time to give the new kid a chance.
I am a registered democrat. I am engaged to be married to a republican on November 1. We have a combined income of > $235,000. My fiance is a financial advisor and wants to know... when a democrat is in the white house, our income taxes will increase, why is it also necessary to repeal the qualified dividend income tax rates after 2010? I am reluctant to vote democrat because I am fearful of further disruption to the financial markets. I would love a response that would set the tone for my and my fiances partnership in terms of voting and future party concerns.
I think we can now see what our country needs!! Change not business as usual , look where this country is right now!! And if people would get past the color of Sen. Obama's skin and see him for what he's proposing to do, with our help; we will work together to bring this change. Then we would not be the racist that is so blantly viewed. The need to be honest with ourselves is first, then we will as a party support this nominee regardless of his color and accept our Demoratic presidential nominee. If we stop looking at the color of this man's skin and work together by making our party stronger, then we could be a part of helping to make change for our country. Why can't we work together for the cause of everyone? Let's not fight change. And God help the racist in this country, it is old school ,move on and help make the changes Sen. Obama's talking about. Whether he says it or someone white or of another color says it, change is what is needed for us to get our country out of the dilemma. So what we say can be true about America : The land of the free and the home of the brave.
I believe in Barack Obama, right now our beautiful country is in trouble because of Bush, the rest of the world looks at America very poorly. I see in Barck Obama a change that I can finally be proud of.
I believe that we are in the worst right now, and maybe we see a hope in Obama's message, not in his promises, the only way he can comply with his promises is if we continue collaborating with him when he become president. I may not be a citizen, but of all the candidates I have seen running for presidency, none of them has left an impression like Obama. He is wise and although he has very little experience, can make a positive and major change in America. I would definitely vote for him, especially after his speech on March 18, 2008. I advise you to watch it and judge for yourself.

Obama said he wants to send 100,000 more troops. If this guy gets into office, you can bet our economy will be much worse then it already is. Well you see, unless there is a major change in the laws, Arnold can't run for president in the USA. I want to see the candidates handle the tougher questions we can come up with and give them more time to see where they stand before I give anyone my precious vote. :P
So, If not Obama... maybe Arnold Schwarzenegger. After all, what political experience did HE have before becoming elected Govenor?Maybe we should get Barack Obama onto reality TV before the election.. then he might be qualified. heh.I'm going to vote for him... what do we have to lose?
It's a bit early to tell if Obama should be running as most Americans have no idea who he is. In my personal opinion, at this specific time, he lacks experience and political maturity unlike many other candidates.
