BARAK OBAMA . Just keep saying his name for the stage is set. He is truly one of us, not born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He understands racism, he understands what single moms go through because he's lived it, he's struggled for his education and survived the odds. He's learned and earned his very life the hard way. Pay attention and really listen to what he has to say, not the oppositions attacks. For real change not only in our country but the world as well, we must get him elected to the Presidency. For the first time in all my adult life, I'm actually excited and passionate about this election. He is the hope for my children and my grandchildren. I believe living in these islands, many of us have to come to truly understand the term "melting pot or salad bowl" because we live it daily. I believe we are more patient, tolerant and understanding. We live the ALOHA and perhaps since Mr. Barak Obama has lived the Aloha as well, he will bring it to this country and the world. Obama is the only candidate that will get something done on global warming. Don't get me wrong, Sen. Clinton has some good policies but as soon as she is elected, there will be World War III between Democrats and Republicans. Forget about a honeymoon! She won't be able to pass anything. We MUST have a politician who can reach across the aisle and work with others. After all, global warming and rising sea levels are not left or right problems, they are human problems.ӌ 8;Compromise is not a dirty word!

I think John Edwards should "hang it up" and remove himself from this race because the percentage of his votes could go to Barak. In the democratic party, this race is all about Barak and Hillary - If Edwards really thought about his party going to the white house, he should ascertain that at least one of them get there by giving up so that his votes could be distributed to either one - BARAK!!

Obama vs Thompson: i think Obama is ready for leading a great country like the United States.

I'm a republican, so I want Romney Or Rudy, but If I had to pick a democrat it would be Obama. At least he originally voted against the Iraq war and didn't flip sides once it started going wrong. You have to commend people for being faithful to all of their decisions ( Rudy lost points on flip of abortion funding) so props to Obama.

Obama has a good chance as long as Hilary doesn't gain any support. Hilary is a racist and she will be another terrible president.

I do not know Mr. Obama's personal religious activities, but I have concerns about a friend and colleague of his who wants use the Koran to pledge his alligiance to public office.
