I believe Obama will turn this United States around. However, the raciest out there will try to take it the otherway using the president to stand behind evil acts against others. For example, the African Americans in real bad areas will be overwhelmed with a sense of power among themselves and put a power struggle against the gang wars already happening here in Gary. So if Obama wins I hope he adresses this issue clearly to the crowd in particular crises as they will be as always charged in court for all unlawfull acts. I am a caucasion female and I will vote for Obama not cause of his skin, but because he has strong beliefs that hit home, when I hear Obama every time he speaks I can relate to everything he says, as I lived alot of what he went through. I believe all of us in some way, shape , or form lived a little like Obama. Indiana needs help. So do alot of other states. I think Obama would be for us Americans, not like McCain for the pocket book that made the Bush family rich while we all look at his wealth and only wish. McCain is a follower of Bush.Vote this year it matters for all sakes!

To improve the economy and create good paying jobs, Obama and Biden should add the following: First, repeal all sales taxes and replace the lost revenue with an import tax/tariff on imported labor and manufactured goods. Repeal all local tax incentives that create poverty wage jobs for warehousing and retailing imports. Second, enact a windfall profits tax on oil companies; but, rebate this money through tax incentives for building refineries and drilling for oil as well as eliminating the $.54/gallon import tax on sugar cane ethanol. This strategy will slow oil companies from using excess profits to buy company stock. Third, increase taxes on corporations and wealthy individuals to pay for the Iraq war and to pump more oil in that country. Barack Obama isn't American and I and many others will never vote for him

Barack, for the first time in my lifetime, I am thinking of voting this year. Mind you, I am a 46 year old man whom is disabled at this point. During the Clinton years, I enjoyed prosperity as did many American's . Now that I have needed my government in the Bush administration, I have faltered, lost my home to foreclosure and find it very hard to find a spet who will accept Medicaid so that I can receive the back surgery needed to get back to work.I waited to file for SSD in hopes that a surgery in Dec. 06 would work but it didn't. Now I have to wait 18-24 months here in Indiana to obtain a hearing to receive the benefits I so desperately need. Mind you, I have been working and putting my due into the system for some 30 years now and when I need to pull some of it out to survive I can not.I am left with donating plasma (luckily there is a facility in my city) and performing surveys online to make enough money to again, survive. I realize that the media sensationalizes many things but today I learned that you may have flip-flopped on some of your stances. For instance, granting immunity to phone companies for wire tapping. This wire tapping in the US is nothing but a stunt to catch possible terrorist individuals but also catch some patriotic Americans speaking out against their country and more specifically the current administration. I had always been a hard working individual, which is why I am in the shape that I am in. You seemed to have had the same stance as I, on many of the issues of concern that have been bothering me and still continue to bother me.I realize you can take a second look on an issue and re-evaluate an opinion and or stance on how you would deal with a certain matter, but please don't make it so widespread and waver totally on a stance you once stood firm upon.So far in my dilemma, my government has totally failed me. My children and grandchildren live in Indiana and I am worried about what the future will bring for them. I live in Illinois and know Barack Obama. He is a good person who cares about all people and wants to bring backhope to those of us who are losing our place in society. She really should be ashamed to mention the trips. Or, she could be appointed Minister of State for Tourism. What our country needs is a President who reasons well and can evaluate situations rationally and consequentially , for it is how you judge your experiences that matters. If all a voter wants is experience, vote for fossils, which are what the Clintons and McCain have become in Washington, DC.

She should have foreseen that the truth will out eventually. The threat to obliterate Iran is a second example of her un-preparedness to be President. This threat drives fear and rage into the heart of most Muslims. Some will be recruited to plant bombs. Islamic governments will increase their efforts to acquire nuclear weapons. How does he provide universal health care with a broken economy and entrenched culture of greed? Insurance and drug companies and mega provider corporations. Has anyone realized that April 4th is the 40 year anniversary of Martin Luther King's assasination and Robert Kennedy's words at what was supposed to be a campaign rally at 17th & Broadway? Don't let this momentous occasion go unrecognized especially in this year when Indiana's decision means something and when the questions of race and change and bringing people together was so well expressed that night 40 years ago when the country was in crisis.

Of course, I will proudly support Senator Obama. He is a true patriot but he also has experience outside the US. We need politicians who are not blind ( a certain George W. comes to mind) to what the world thinks of what we are doing. To McCain and Clinton supporters, I must ask one question.
