I think it it exciting and wonderful to see the unfolding of this historical prez race; I knew it would occur but not so soon. I have decided to support Barack because he represents change. I am doing all I can to help. It does not depend upon race or gender to me it depends upon change which I think Obama represents. Our country and our world is in flux right now; everything around us is changing and I hope this change, with the help of dedicated people will be for the better. The world is in bad shape and we seemed to have been going in the wrong direction; we need more caring people; yes, I will say it, "what the world needs now is love, sweet love." I might add love is not just a "mushy emotion". rather, it is a force, a power, an energy that can be directed for the good; love is universal, unified intelligence at work. This intelligence is the umbrella under which all kinds of people and creation can exist under in peace and unity.

I'm a 70 yr old white woman and have voted Republican in the last 2 elections.But now, after hearing the message of change and hope from Senator Obama, I have directed all of my support toward him and will be voting for him in Nov. Even though I am old, I still would like to see a change in Washington politics by a young,dynamic leader-Barack Obama.
