As for the person who says that Obama imports foreign workers...did you know that migrant workers pay into social security at a rate of 15% and they don't collect. That is actually a positive thing for americans. Also, as for the "bitter" comment. People DO cling to faith and guns when they are bitter. People who are feeling disenfranchised and down often pray for guidance. People also can feel that they need to have their firearms, not just for hunting, but also for protection against a tyrannic majority, I think that was the original purpose of the second amendment. THINK people. Think about what Barack says. People ARE bitter and down trodden. The middle cl pays higher percentages of taxes than do the very wealthy in many states. What about the kids on campuses on who now want to carry concealed weapons, ie Virginia Tech. They feel bitter and threatened. So WHAT's wrong with what he said anyway? He's right and I think he was trying to explain where people are coming from.

Again the false dichotomy: "We can't deport 12 million illegal aliens, THEREFORE we must make them citizens". Baloney! Attrition through enforcement is working fine in the 5 states (AZ, OK, TN, GA, and most recently, MS) where strict law enforcement has ped on a bi-partisan basis.
Heath Shuler's SAVE Act (D-NC) has 185 signers to get a vote on this same policy at the national level.
Question for Sen. Obama: Since you advocate that illegal aliens be awarded their ill-gotten goods (residency in our country), even with a fine, etc., do you also advocate that burglars be awarded their ill-gotten goods (stolen jewels), even with a fine? Do you think that rewarding illegal aliens with what they stole (residency) will 1) increase or 2) decrease future illegal immigration? Duh.

Did you know illegal aliens don't pay for hospital stays? WE have to pay. Did you know an illegal alien woman can have 8 kids and get welfare for every one of them? WE are forced to pay for that! Did you know kids of illegal aliens are educated with OUR tax dollars?
Barry Obama wants to give MORE of our tax dollars to illegal aliens. WHY would ANY taxpaying American citizen ever vote for someone like him?

Obama is for open borders and amnesty. That will be the end of the United States of America. ALl I need to know.

Obama marched with the illegal aliens during their May 1st (Communist worker's holiday) in Chicago...and was proud of it. Excuse me but what was a U.S. Senator doing amongst known illegal aliens? Shouldn't he have called ICE instead? No elected offiicial should be wasting taxpayer paid time pandering, meeting with foreign nationals living here illegally. That is not his job, nor mandate nor duty. There are far more important concerns for legal constituents that put him into office.

Obama has successfullly played the race card to achieve what he has achieved....but of course, now he denies this as his racist mentor and his racist comments reveal what has influenced Obama's life for the past few decades.....Sha meful. Obama wants people to forget about his race in this election but conveniently belongs to an Afro-supremacis t church headed by an openly racist Pastor. Imagine if Hillary or McCain belonged to some white supremacist church or had a pastor that spewed the same type of hatred ......Obama 9;s pastor and his connections with Wright shouldn't be simply swept under the rug because Obama is black. Obama and his ties to Black racists and Sots make him unfit to be the President of the United States.

If you're a college student paying for your own tuition or have parents paying for tuition, or if you're a worker...voting for Obama is the last thing you need to do....Obama 9;s voting record in the Senate shows that he has an abyssmal record when it comes to importing foreign workers and to granting amnesty to unskilled, illegal aliens .....OBAMA supports the DREAM act to reward illegal alien students (who already have availed themselves of a free public school education in the U.S. at taxpayer expense) in-state college tuition discounts AND a path to citizenship...n either of which is now automatically granted to any foreign national on a student visa. OBAMA would rather place an illegal alien in a better position than foreign students on student visas who play by the rules and in a better position than American college students who wish to study in public colleges out of state. How is that in any way fair? OBAMA is a Sot and cares nothing about the real constitutional principles that distinguish our country's system of democracy from that of others....the American people do not want to become like Sot European nations.

Even after seeing Obama bowl I still want to vote for him. If that's not devotion then I don't know what is.

Senator Barack Obama is the best suited USA presidential candidate. Sen. Obama will change, how America does business. Sen. Obama will make positive change. In 2008 Senator Barack Obama will change America’s History.
Sen. Obama is untainted by special interest groups, he does not have to cater to old cronies, friends and Lobbyist. I think Sen. Obama is very intuitive, smart and he is also a very caring towards all people, not just the high-rollers and wealthy population. Sen. Obama has a vision and is totally focused to change politics here and abroad. We the people of America will be noted and respected again. Sen. Barack Obama will use the monies, currently being blown to cronies, consultants in the war. I believe, only a small amount of the billions of war funding is going to the troops and missions; very little goes towards our very brave and fighting combat troops.
I believe Sen. Obama will support our military troops, just not the Iraq Islamist Civil War. US military troops have to loose limbs and their lives, because of fear and warrior judgments of US fearful and fantasizing war lords. Perhaps term limits will end the continuation of nepotism and if we put an end to the Peter Principle especially present in all Government, once and for all. Industry expects people to step-down, retire, but no not in Government. In America we have some Peter’s in Government, obviously, they have been with the good ‘ol boys far too long. These Politician’s will never agree to nor propose any change at all. Wereas, we all know that some change is much needed to function and to do business in today’s global markets. Global rules and policies have changed. The UN and EU have changed, but not America, we have not changed. Many politicians think it is business as usual, we hold the reigns and everyone will follow. That is not so anymore! Hello America, we need to come out of our deep TexMex trans and wake up. Today, it is China who holds the strings.
I believe as President, Barack Obama, a man of honor and peace, will close Guantanamo Bay immediately and in the interim he will to put an end to this never-ending US scandalous affairs.
Getting America back on track, American's will spend the same amount of money, if not less. Real jobs will be created, they will require real talent and effort, not just distribution and warehousing of toxic goods that are Made in China. America will take better care of her people and cultures as well as aid global efforts in preserving our earth by making it green again.
The good news will be that America will do honest business again, grow and US goods will get attention for quality, Made in USA. And this is why The United States Of America needs Barack Obama for President in 2008. - GO OBAMA GO!

As a conservative independent, there are naturally policies with which I disagree with the senator. But his fire, his pion, his leadership...th is country can't afford not to elect him.

This is the first election that I am really excited about because I feel that now is the time for crucial change and I truly believe that Barack Obama is it. He has such pion and seems to really want what is best for all Americans. I feel that this man could change our government and really make a difference, but more importantly when I hear him speak he makes me believe that there is hope. People with his pion and drive don't come along very often and it would be such a shame to miss out on the opportunity to have a man like this as our president. YES WE CAN! Obama '08.

This race is very tight now, and it is apparent that Pennsylvania will have some kind of impact on who gets the Dem nomination. I am an avid supporter of Barack Obama because of his ideals, his dedication to the middle and lower cl, and his ability to bring all people, from various ethnicities and political parties together. This needs to be the future of politics in our country. I am looking to volunteer for the campaign, but am having trouble finding organizations in the Allentown area. If anyone has any information, please post. Allentown has a very large Hispanic population, and it is imperative that he do better in that voting demographic. We need to bring our Latino brothers and sisters into the Obama coalition, if he is going to win PA.

Months ago I would have never supported Obama. I opened my ears to listen long enough to not only what he was saying, but the pion that he delivered it. The man is the real deal. With a real pion to see America succeed. I feel sorry for this country if another candidate wins this election. God have mercy on our souls!

Obama just lost my vote and that of many others....he's announced that he supports driver's licenses for illegal aliens. Did he not know what just happened to Gov. Spitzer in NY? Has Obama not heard of the real I.;D. Act? Allowing illegal aliens to have driver's licenses presents a clear and present danger to our nation.....no driver's license clerk will be able to verify the veracity and legitimacy of foreign identification credentials from nations around the world presented to them by foreign nationals living here illegally. Obama should be more concerned with the safety, health and welfare of AMERICAN citizens of all colors, races/creeds than to be pandering to foreign nationals backed by their meddling foreign governments and the profiteers of illegal immigration.
