Hello, I live in Rochester, near Olympia. We are looking for a celebration party to attend for Barack Obama. Does anyone know of an event or place where this much anticipated celebration will be held for the public???
In Grays harbor county they use a mail in ballot. But not all registered voters get a ballot, so they can't / don't vote. The elections office in Montesano, Wa is set on call answering, so you can not get an answer to how/where to get a ballot. It is a voter selection / catch 22 situation. You don't get a ballot, so you don't vote, and then you don't get the next ballot for the next election, etc.
I have heard that there are going to be nationwide rallies for Obama in August. I think August 23 was the date. Is anything being planned on San Juan Island?
I have been following your quest for the change that is so badly need in the highest office of this country. I find you very refreshing. That statement may sound a bit trite. I am not racely a considered a minorty. But, what I am finding in this later state of part of your quest, is all of a sudden in seeking you to be the Democratic candidate in November, somebody decided to make this a bloody race issue. I have a lot of unpolitical, unnice words here. I personally like your platform. Thank you for being a breath of fresh air and ideas.I fall under the heading of senior female citzen, with a mixed hertiage, some politically correct, some not, but who really gives a quack? I want the young people like you to stand up and take charge... I want our babes serving on foreign soil to have the very best equipment and our country behind them. Honestly, what makes Obama any better than HIllary or even Ron Paul? Isn't this just the same old political game that's happened every election year since the beginning of our country?
