I have nothing against Obama, I believe that some of his views are leading America in the right direction. However, I do have a thought. Nostradamus made history with his prophecies, he made a prophecy concerning Hussein, now please bear with me, perhaps these prophecies were not linked to Saddam, but rather Barack Hussein Obama. Obama does not hold his hand over his heart for our pledge, he wants to run America by his muslim ways, does this not concern us?? As an American and as someone who has listened to his views and read between the lines and also as someone who has noticed other factors that plays a role in this I must beg you not to vote for him. NOTHING against him as a person or for his political views, but putting him in to office could be the demise of America itself. As a God fearing true American I pray that we look at all sides of this situation, not just his views on politics, but his views on America itself. If something sounds to good to be true it usually is. Just please take the time to stand outside of the box and look at him from a different angle, and take in the factors I mentioned above. Thank you for reading this.

I'm totally for Barack. He's a great candidate and an excellent orator. I've been reading all I can on him and believe he has a better grasp of the problems that ail America than the other candidates. Check out his official site or the unofficial site whyobama08.org for those who want to support him.

Puerto rico may be a surprise to many, we are not mexican americans, our island is very mixed race wise. We all have cousins who are not white, there is a big black white indian mix in PR. That may be something the usual hispanic community does not have.

Just a question: It's interesting that it is taken for granted that whatever Obama says could only be understood or be appealing to the "elites" and therefore he looses the votes of the white working cl. For the white working cl women and men this bight become a self-fulfilling prophecy .. they internalize the expectation and behave accordingly. BUT, isn't this an insult to those women and men and underestimation for their sound judgment ?! and shouldn't Obama address this sereotypical view before the PA primary?

I'm a middle aged, white working man... supposedly the wrong demographic for Obama. But I believe there are a lot of us out there that do support him, and here is why. Over the years I have voted for Republicans, Independents and Democrats. And I have noticed that it didn't matter who I supported, none of them accomplished the things they promised when they were running for election. Now you might jump to the usual conclusion that they were all liars, and in some cases I am convinced that they were. But in many cases the political reality is that accomplishing something in Washington entails convincing a lot of other politicians to follow you. And this is the problem, most politicians, in the end, subvert their principals to political expediency.
Now I think that Hillary Clinton's heart is in the right place, but she has proven that she will do what is politically expedient, not what's in her heart. The clic example of this is the infamous vote to abducate her responsibility as a US Senator and give the President the authority to declare war on Iraq!
Barack may not be able to accomplish all he has promised, but I believe he will follow his heart, even if it means he is unable to accomplish all he deisres. The events in the past two weeks are proof of that. In spite of the pressure to do the politically correct thing, which I am sure all of his advisors counseled, he did not denounce his pastor. He took the bold step of discussing the real issue of racial attitudes in this country.
Barack Obama is the only candidate running who has the moral authority to fix the problems in this country. Even John McCain, one of the few Republicans these days that I can respect, has bowed to politics to support the current President and thus corrupted himself.
If we, the people, will open our minds and follow our hearts, Barack will be the next President of the United States!

Go, Ohio... Go, Obama!!!!
You guys are the best. A big hug to all Obama supporters in Ohio from the Americans who support him abroad. I am writing this from Spain and canīt wait for Hillary to concede the nomination after the Buckeye and the Lone Star States kick her arrogant butt on Tuesday.
The Democrats Abroad did with our Online Global Primary! 65% of our votes were for Barack. Looking on from the "Outside" in, it is so obvious that the US needs a candidate like Obama.
People outside the US donīt hate Americans, they just hate the Foreign Policy and donīt understand how so many people have permitted someone like Bush to be elected and even RE-elected. He has done so much damage to our Country and its image in the World, and manipulated so many people through Fear and lies...
Believe me, Ohio... itīs clearer than a bell when you live outside the US, and much more difficult to discern when you live within. I congratulate you all for your criteria, intelligence and commitment to the future. You make me proud, really proud, to be a fellow American.

I'm voting for Barack Obama because I think that he will be a positive change for our country. Other countries hate us and I think that this will be a good starting point to gather the people together. I feel that he is the one to do it.

I do not know how to contact Mr. Obama by e-mail but I would like to advise him that the Florida voting had a very important item for voters to vote on concerning a question on doubling the homestead exemption. I believe this is what brought out the huge voting population. This was on the same voting ballot that Hillary Clinton's name was on.

I am voting for this man because he is smart enough to recruit a team of advisors and potential policy makers who are respected experts in their choosen fields, who have very diverse backgrounds, ideologies and traditions. Mr. Obama does not appear to want to make the decisions that are most comfortable to/and for him but rather the best possible decisions for all Americans. I honestly believe that he will be the first American President who had the forsight to gather advisors that are bright and diverse who he will listen to & consider equal members of his team called "let's save America because it's really turning to shit." I don't think he wants to be King, John Wayne or Imperial PuBa. (Obviously I'm writing a Gr-Roots blog & not a Press Release)! I think the man is sincerely looking for a true representation of "us," the PEOPLE, to collectively think through & evaluate what the best choices for "us" would be regarding: education; economics; social services; foreign policy; military deployment & positioning; political reform; enviromental and health issues (& reform) to name a few of his daily tasks that, let's face it, we are hiring him to do. It is, afterall, the most overrated employment position in the world if you ever break it down to..."Wanted ...Employee... Must be able to handle daily decion making for our family of elderly grandparents, working parents, teens, elementary students (a couple disabled), toddlers, babies, and our foster kids. We'd like you to make sure that are food is healthy, our enviroment safe & that we can live within our budget. Please let us know if there is anything you need or anything we can do to make your job easier & never forget that as long as you work for us you are considered a member of our family." I hope Mr. Obama wins & I have no problem adding that as a married educated white woman who has been overseas more than once, our country could really benefit from having a black president because pockets of this country are still racist and this might force them in to the realization that there is no tolerance for that kind of archaic thinking any more. On the other hand, it may not, but it can't hurt. Having said that, I don't believe in "entitlement" because the British forced my Irish ancestors in to starvation (Patatoe Famine) & the peers I meet who are of british decent today do not owe me anything & I can not treat them in any way that I wouldn't treat a member of my family. Bottom line (it's late & I'm rambling/preach ing, Mr. Obama is the closest to the real thing that we have. He's clear headed, willing to ask for help, incredibly bright, family oriented, funny, fair, most likely someone that the rest of the world will respect and enjoy meeting with & I bet you any money that the good guys will trust him & he'll be able to sniff out the rats & even if he doesn't, he'll have the best of the best surrounding him & our military & top dogs can't be beat. Afterall, America is still the greatest country on earth. And, in conclusion, Mr. Obama believes in God and has no shame in telling you so if asked but he doesn't think he is God and that will be a very healthy change.

3. A section for Barack Obama's wife Michelle Obama since she is so active in her husband's campaign.

Misspelled name:
His name is somewhat easy to spell wrong. Some of the most popular misspellings are Barac Obama or even Baraca Obama, Barac Obama, Borak Obama, and similar to the hilariously funny movie Borat is Borak Obama.
